Conny Bäckström,
drag & dance
Graduate of Balettakademien in Stockholm. Has had roles
in the musicals Chicago and Garbo. Played the role of
Angel in Rent which earned him a nomination for the Gold
Mask in 2001 for best supporting actor and for which he
won the Riksteater prize for best supporting actor in
2002. Conny has been a member of the After Dark ensemble
since 2004, with leaves of absence in order to perform
in Rent in 2006-07, and more recently in The Producers
in 2008. |
 Nicklas
Sundför, drag &
dance
Born and raised in Umeå. Graduate of Balettakademien in
Stockholm. A former member of the drag show group
Diamond Dogs, Niclas has been a permanent member of
After Dark since 2004. He has worked with many of
Sweden’s most prominent choreographers and as a
choreographers assistant. Has toured extensively in all
parts of Europe. Nicklas has participated in
dance-movies and taught dance at The Royal Swedish
Ballet School,
Lasse Kühlers Dansskola and Balettakademien in
Stockholm. |

 Christian
Larsson, dance
Born and raised in Stockholm. Christian has worked as a
dancer since 1987 with amongst others Wallmans salonger,
Melodifestivalen and Sikta mot stjärnorna. He has danced
for Carola on tour in Sweden and Europe. Has performed
in shows in Italy, Switzerland and Spain. In the course
of his career he has danced with the many of Sweden’s
top artists - Lisa Nilsson, Jerry Williams, Tomas Ledin,
Jan Malmsjö and others. Danced in Chinarevyn with Lasse
Berghagen and others. Christian has been a member of
After Dark since 1992. |
 Kjell-Erik
Edström, dance
Graduate of Balettakademien in Stockholm. He has worked
with modern dance and show in Scandinavia and the rest
of Europe. Kjell-Erik has performed in a number of
musicals and shows - Skål, Me and my Girl, Elvira
Madigan, Some like it hot, Guys and Dolls and Chicago, as
well as in a number of TV-productions. Joined AFTER DARK
at their 20th Anniversary show. More recently Kjell-Erik
performed in the musical Victor/Victoria. |
